Tyrael definitely is a bruiser support character and since healers and supports are not considered the same anymore, Tyrarl should be reclassified a support. Tyrarl kit is very supportive to dive teams in nature, he can shield himself along side his diving allies like illidan or kerrigan, he can give movement speed to your dive buddy Artanis, he can slow and body block enemies for allied Butcher, he provides utility sustained damage, illidan chose a target to hunt ,Tyrael follow up with judgement, Tyrael can protect a charging butcher from being collapsed on by enemy team with sanctification.

However I don’t really care about Imperius being considered a tank but I do really think now that Tyrael can be categorized as support along side Zarya. Since Imperius release I believed that Tyrael and imperius should switch roles, Imperius is a better tank than Tyrael while Tyrael is more of a bruiser with soft CC mobility and damage, Imperius damage is too much for a tank yes but his kit have hard CC and sustainability. I didn’t want to raise this topic before but I want to after the role redefinition.
